Delete your myTime account

You can delete your myTime sign-in yourself from the app, or ask us to do it if you no longer have the app. This page explains both, and what happens to your data.

Delete it in the app (fastest)

  1. Open myTime ESS and sign in.
  2. Go to Account → Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete my account.
  3. Enter your password, then the verification code sent to your phone, email or authenticator app.

The account is removed immediately and you are returned to the sign-in screen.

What is deleted, and what is kept

  • Deleted right away: your myTime sign-in (username and password), your two-factor methods and recovery codes, trusted devices, app sessions, and push-notification tokens for your devices.
  • Kept by your employer: your employment and payroll records (pay stubs, tax forms, direct-deposit and benefits elections). Employers are required by law to keep payroll records, typically for at least four years, and myTime only displays them. To ask about those records, contact your employer’s payroll or HR department.
  • Kept for security: sign-in and security logs are retained for up to 12 months, then removed.

You can register again later with your employee number if you return to an employer on myTime.

Can’t use the app? Ask us

If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, send the request below (or email [email protected]). We confirm the request with the email address or phone on the account, delete the sign-in, and reply within 5 business days.

Do not include your password or Social Security number. We only use this to verify and process the request.
