myTime Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Westedge Technical Services, Inc. (“Westedge,” “we,” “us”), publisher of the myTime app, collects, uses and protects information when you use the myTime mobile app and employee portal (the “Service”). myTime is provided to employees on behalf of their employer.
Information we collect
- Account information — the username and credentials you sign in with, and the security methods you set up (such as a phone number for text codes, an authenticator app, or devices you choose to trust). When you create your account in the app, we check the employee number, last name and last four digits of the Social Security number you enter against your employer’s records, and confirm your email address with a code.
- Employment and payroll information — provided by your employer so you can view it: name, employee ID, pay stubs, earnings and deductions, tax-withholding elections, direct-deposit bank details, tax forms (such as W-2 and 1095-C), and benefits eligibility.
- Information you submit in the app — requests you choose to make, such as direct-deposit and withholding changes, contact-detail updates, time-off notices, and benefits enrollment. Enrolling family members in a health, dental or vision plan involves their names, dates of birth, relationship to you and, where the carrier requires it, Social Security numbers; this information is used only to process the enrollment with your employer and its insurance carriers.
- Device information for notifications — if you enable alerts, a push-notification token for your device so we can tell you when a new pay stub or notice is posted.
- Biometric unlock — Face ID and fingerprint unlock are performed entirely by your device. We never receive or store your biometric data; the app only learns whether the unlock succeeded.
- Limited technical data — basic diagnostic and security information (such as app version, device type and sign-in events) needed to operate the Service securely and to spot unauthorized access.
We do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not sell your personal information.
How we use information
- To show you your pay, tax, benefits and employment information.
- To let you update information such as direct deposit, withholding and contact details, report time off, and enroll in or decline benefits, and to route those requests to your employer’s payroll and benefits teams (and, for benefits, its insurance carriers) for processing.
- To verify your identity and secure your account, including two-factor authentication.
- To send notifications you have enabled, such as new-pay-stub alerts.
- To operate, maintain, troubleshoot and improve the Service.
How information is shared
- With your employer and its authorized payroll and benefits administrators, who own the employment records shown in the app, and — only when you enroll — with the insurance carriers your employer offers.
- With service providers that host and support the Service under confidentiality obligations (for example, hosting, delivery of email and text verification codes, and push-notification delivery by Apple and Google).
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of users and the Service.
We never sell your data or share it for third-party advertising.
How we protect information
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption of data in transit, two-factor authentication, optional biometric (Face ID / fingerprint) unlock on your device, least-privilege access controls, and audit logging of account and support activity. Pay documents the app downloads are protected on your device and removed when you close them or sign out, and the app hides your pay information in the app switcher. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information at every step.
Data retention
Employment and payroll information is retained for as long as your employer requires it and as needed to comply with legal, tax and recordkeeping obligations. Account and security information is kept while your account is active and removed when you delete your account.
Your choices
- Turn notifications on or off in your device settings or in the app.
- Add, change or remove your two-factor methods under Account → Security, and review or remove trusted devices on the myTime website.
- To correct payroll or employment information, contact your employer’s payroll or HR department, or submit a change request in the app.
- Delete your account at any time under Account → Settings → Privacy & Data, or ask us to delete it if you no longer have the app. This removes your myTime sign-in, security methods and device tokens. Your employment and payroll records remain with your employer, which is required by law to keep them.
- To request access to your personal information, contact us below; note that your employer, as the record owner, may direct how such requests are handled.
Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for employed adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
